Yes, tomorrow will mark the 30 year anniversary of the death of "The King"..
Time to take a step back.. Time to remember...
His 40-pound colon filled with a white chalky substance.
Elvis and the Memphis Mafia shooting flashbulbs in the Graceland swimming pool with BB Guns.
Scatter the Monkey.
Judy Spreckles.
Hamburger James. (Includes Elvis running through an airport shouting "Stop that plane... I'm a FEDERAL AGENT!")
Drinking narcotic cough syrup from champagne glasses.
Taking pills to cut down on body odor so he didn't have to take a bath
"Rip your tongue out BY THE ROOTS!"
I've got hundreds more that I can't even remember now.. Who's got wacky drugged-out Elvis stories?

He's a legend just for what you mentioned.

I was on holiday in Wales when I read he'd died. It doesn't seem like 30 years ago. 20 maybe.
But seriously, he's not dead really. Everyone knows that. He was working for a taxi firm in Finsbury Park last time I saw him. And the time before that, he was singing in a pub one sunday afternoon. You could tell he'd been living in a hot climate because of the sun tan. His singing hadn't improved much either.

It's been reported that for about two years, Elvis ate nothing but roast beef and mashed potatoes.

Fools Gold sandwich...
French Roll, hollowed out.. Filled with peanut butter, bananas and bacon.
He'd eat 2 or 3 of them at a time.

And he still shoots out the TV screen when Robert Goulet comes on.
