I'm not posting any spoilers. Just wondering what everyone's take on the new season will be like. To me, it looks like same story basis as last time. All talk, some action here and there. Even though I really hope not.

And yourself? ...

I don't think I'd count on any incredible amouts of action at any time during this series.
It's not the X-men, after all.

I don't believe these comments would be considered spoilers, but just in case - I'll use the tags...
The characters we know from season 1 will take on different roles
and will come to further understand and develop their abilities.

The audience will be given more in-depth knowledge of each character's background and life.
And the characters will have more personal storylines.

New characters with abilites will be introduced - both "good" and "evil"

I read an article in TV Guide that had more info - definitely of a spoiler nature - but I won't post that... at least not yet. wink.gif

Yes, I know but I do watch a lot of anime so the times when the good guy finally discovers his powers are the best parts to me. original.gif

I didn't read much of the TV Guide article. The post office angered me because I was going to save that one and it was torn up when it arrived. GR.

I'm all for character development though. I think it's alot better than "BOOM! I figured out my powers and I know how to use em!". What's the saying, it's not about the end, it's about the journey? Could be said about alot of TV series. Only you see more character development here due to TV and not movie where everything moves so fast.

When I watched the season opener I found myself thinking what actually happened last season?.... and came to the conclusion that despite the fact the world didn't blow up not a lot really happened.

There's so many ways the storyline can go, but right now it just seems a bit more same-old, same-old. I think we're gonna have to wait and see, but hopefully there'll be a few twists along the way!

p.s I spoilered that out because the season hasn't yet finished on UK TV!

It's good to see David Anders on TV again. I liked his character on Alias.
