Very scary indeed! Both for the passengers for the plane spotters. In the first one, as a passenger you would probably think you're going to crash into the sea.

Yeah that's real, it's St. Maartens (first one). My parents were there a couple of months ago. It's very low, but not quite as low as it seems. The take-offs are worse - I don't know if you've ever seen a video of the thrust a 747 has, but people stand on the beach as one is taking off, and literally get blown out to sea. They seem to enjoy it which is strange

I am surprised they allow vehicles into the area as you would think a bus or lorry would be a serious safety hazard if one passed along that road.
