No, of course not. The human brain is advanced to the point where it can read words that have any on of their letters except the first and last swapped around.

As for what this topic is actually about: I've already come across this, I was surprised how easy it was to read the words despite the lettering being in the wrong order.

Yup, and so has our dollar

I renewed my license today at an incredibly cheap rate, thanks to our Loonie finally being worth more than the greenback.

Hey it only took about 25 years for that to happen laughing.gif

And we hope and pray it remains so for many years to come too.

May the American rconomy continue to suffer to our advantage.

I can only assume you're half joking and not making that sound as harsh as it does. rolleyes.gif

I can read it, but surely if 55% of people can then it's the 45% that are weird. wink.gif

I can read everything, too, although I am not a native speaker, but I guess that doesn't matter.

Yeah, that message originated as an email YEARS ago. It wasn't until the dawn of social networks that the desparate Emo's felt the need to add the rubbish about 55% or being "special" or "weird" - in reality EVERYONE can read that message. It's just the way the human brain works. getlost.gif

God bless George Bush and his inability to work out that Unaffordable Tax Cuts + Massive Unaffordable Increase in Spending = Massive budget deficit and national debt that you end up owing to the Chinese.

The Aussie peso is getting darn close to being dollar for dollar with the U.S Greenback, not a good development down here. The Reserve bank has already raised interest rates to curb spending and inflation. And it's an election year. Looking at plane tickets and pre-booking a trip to New York next year, never been cheaper.

Might drop in on IPS and have a couple of brews with Lindy and team.

Not a good development? Bah! Here in NZ, we have our exporters whining constantly that suddenly they don't have their 100% profit margin on all products any more. It drives me nuts, especially when you consider that we import more than we export, which benefits from the high dollar. Not to mention the petrol companies reminding us that "the high dollar is the only thing sheltering us from $2.00 per litre petrol".

It's an excellent development. Our Minister of Finance has already been quoted as saying "get used to it, adapt or die" (or similar) because the US has dumped itself in a right predicament, and wont be getting out any time soon.
