Hello,

Yesterday I bought IDM and installed it straight away. I noticed however that Anti-Leech Protection is a global setting for the entire module. When I initially bought IDM I had in mind that anti-leech protection could be activated for each file seperately. In the features from the beta release I didnt see this as a new option as well so I'd like to suggest it for a future release.

What I had in mind is that files could be uploaded to the server. The uploader could spread the IDM generated link over the internet and people would be able to freely download it from anywhere. However to manage the bandwidth (and attract visitors) an administrator would be able to activate anti-leech protection on a file making it 'impossible' to download outside of the domain where the module has been installed. People would be redirected to a page which explains that the file is now only available for registered members.

You could even make a global setting where you set the maximum bandwith or number of times downloaded that triggers the switch for activating anti-leech protection.

This option would really extend the functionality of IDM with filehosting capabilities. I hope this suggestion can be taken into consideration.
