Full Version: Transperant Background But Not Text?

I would like to know if there is a way to make it so that my <div>'s are transperant yet the text inside them is not.

(opacity for FF and the alpha filter for IE)


For example this does not work sad.gif :
<div style="opacity: 0.8;"><div style="opacity: 1.0;>Text Here</div> other stuff here</div>

(Oh and I don't want to use images for this)

Damn it I did not specify how transperant, more like 50% for some div's and 25% for others. Thanks for that though too.
