Full Version: Converge Email Problems

Okay, I tried looking for a post regarding it but could not find one.

Here's the situation...

Before Converge
Forum A: email@hotmail.com
Forum B: email@gmail.com

After Converge
Converge: email@hotmail.com
Forum A: email@hotmail.com
Forum B: email@gmail.com

User says that he can get into Forum A and still see his posts and etc...., but when he clicks on Forum B, it says "Welcome new user" even though we know he has an account there.

Now there doesn't seem to be any way to change Forum B's email address over to to match Forum A: and Converge so it will treat him as a member of both forums as it should.

When I attempt to go into Forum B and change his email@gmail.com to email@hotmail.com, it says "It's already in use".

So how am I supposed to change it, short of going into SQL (which did work sucessfully, but is time consuming when sifting through thousands of users).

So, did I explain this clear enough?

Jeez, it would be nice if someone would give me an answer on this.
