I was thinking how some people at least at my site forget about my site, I think it would be a nice feature of IDM to have an ability to tie into the Mass Email feature of IPB and send off automatic emails at certain times letting people know of whats been added to IDM.

Something like....


Option = How often to auto Mass email? (every week, month, 6 months)
Option = What usergroups to Mass Email?
Option = What Message should be emailed
Option = List Contents of whats been updated or Statistics since last email (for IDM's that get tons of updates)
Option = Allow Members to Opt Out


Also my board rewards people who upload, It would be nice if IDM had a feature to auto promote members for a designated time period based on how many submissions they upload

Something like...

If a Member uploads X number of submissions, and they are approved by a Moderator, Move the Member from Usergroup1 to Usergroup2 for X amount of time, If Member is already in Usergroup2, Push back current expiration date X amount of time.

Of course we would have to put checks in there to make sure we aren't promoting a moderator or a higher up usergroup to a lower group, So we should be able to exclude certain groups, Also If we really wanted to get crazy we could also do.....

If a Member ever reaches X amount of submissions total, promote them from Usergroup1 to Usergroup2 no expiration.
