Ok i'm probably going mad but the widget area in the dashboard still looks the same to me, i thought it was meant to be redone in beta 7 or at least fixed?
i did a upgrade from beta6 btw.

my JS fails everywhere I do not know why I have to install it FRESH and upgrade never ever works
I did a fresh install and it works fine. I actually don't have to curse at my computer when I try to remove widgets and re-position them it went nice and smooth. Actually worked... thank you IPS for fixing this.

what exactly causes your behavior?

maybe if I explain it in steps
1) I can not upgrade from BETA 6 if I do so dropdown menus fail to open
2) fresh install everything works fine and dandy
now Ryan told me to do a fresh install it works fine for him yet in my orginal post I said I did a fresh and it worked so he never bothered to read what I said was the real problem
or one more way to explain it

yea i think a upgrade doesn't work either i believe its something to do with the cache files, i've tried remaking them or removing them and numerous other things to no avail.

The way I read it, was he was just posting that it was working for him - just because he posted after you didn't mean it was a reply to you. If you want help - try asking, nicely - it works wonders
