The encoded file public_html/dev/nexus//ips_kernel/class_ipsclass_core.php has expired.
Maybe because its after midnight but I was installing everything to run a few tests, and I get that nice error. Is there a new release planned?

what are you talking about?
i must have missed the "OMG MY SITES GONE AND IT WAS LIIIIIVE!!!" posts here...
makes perfect sense to test everything, and the only way to test everything you'll need to actually try putting the site together.
i find it odd that you cant understand why people are using site building software to build sites...
should i just install nexus and tinker with the menus for 15 minutes?

Trying to run a site is the only way to find those weird bugs. I am not running it as my live site but I am preping my site so when it is released I am ready to go. I know I have found quiet a few weird ones just from using it. Real world testing is the best kind!

Exactly if you don't do anything with the software how do you know it works, ect, or if its even practical for you to deploy in the first place.

Don't pressure them so that we get a release that has more bugs then the previous... or those stupid bugs that prevent you from doing the simplest things.

It would not be a

Far from it.

While Josh is helping with IPB3, his primary focus is still on the business suite. Matt kind of jumps back and forth.
Keep in mind, there's a ton of infrastructure stuff that needs to be finished before this can be released. Even if the reported bugs are kind of teetering off, our website has to be updated (including pages on Nexus and the payment systems), we have to have documentation ready, staff have to be ready to support it fully, and so on. I think things are mostly getting pulled together.
No idea when final release will be or what the price will be. But it hasn't been abandoned or dumped. When I walked by Josh's desk yesterday, he was fixing reported Nexus bugs.

He was fixing Nexus bugs when I walked by, not because I walked by.

There are bugs that are in our private QA tracker that we've stumbled across ourselves - just because stuff doesn't seem to update publicly doesn't mean stuff isn't being done.

can we have some news, is it going to rc1 thats why its taking a little longer this time. Are you updating the main site first then releasing it? ( in which case i'd assume your going to rc... ).

Apparently the expired issue was already fixed, so I guess you can try and download it now, still probably Beta 7 though.

They extended the core files, but not the additional modules. So, you can go and re-download the distribution of Beta 7 again.
