It would be nice if the Admins could view a Member's profile in the forums and see the IPB Downloads statistics for that user, rather than having to log into the Admin CP and going to the Components tab and running a Statistics query on the user.

I have seen a couple old post suggesting that a user's download statistics be available to them in their forum CP. I add my name in favor of that. I don't see any way that a user can see what the system has recorded for their download activity at the present time. If someone else is using their account to download files, they are completely unaware. I haven't seen any indications that anyone's account has been hacked or used by someone else, but it will happen sometime, I am sure.

I meant IPB in the Title not IBP... Reminder to self... Stop posting before the morning coffee has kicked in.. SORRY..

IF this were to happen, we'd have bigger issues to worry about than the fact that someone used someone else's account to download files from the DM

I'd simply prefer more stats in the admincp. It's really lacking and hard to get info out of.

Just off the top my head I allow guest downloads, would love to see in the Top Downloaders section the IP, File and bandwidth or something along those lines.

I'll second that, the statistics in admincp are severely lacking.

Care to explain? Given that the download manager has the most statistics of any of the components (and arguably the board itself)? What is it missing exactly?

It's not saying much when something gives more stats than the board itself sad.gif
