No way, that’s in the forum software. sad.gif

I am talking in IP.converge. cool.gif

What could you possibly need groups for in Converge?
Chillyware
In the admin there is Staff, Users & Groups
I can’t find the options groups.

I want the use the group option.
bfarber
That's just heading text - there is no groups option in Converge.

Again - what do you want to use the group option for?

So I can put users to different groups.

Users a too group a
Users P to group P

For what though lol. You're kind of walking around the question - what would the division of groups accomplish? What would be the functionality of having groups in Converge, since the only thing a user can do on the front end is

1) Register
2) Login
3) Change email/password

I don't understand what would be the purpose of putting users a in group a and users p in group p. Can you explain what the purpose of this would be for? What benefit would it serve?
Chillyware
I wanted to use converge for a users registration, for mine backend jobs application mod.
Chillyware
I remove converge an move to Subdreamer CMS to use the group function.

coverge was not the thing I was hoping for :-( . you can do this also only with IPB.

You can closed this one thanks
♠ Charles
See that's the difference, Subdreamer is Content Management, Converge on the other hand is to connect multiple forums together so users do not have to re-register on the ones added.
Chillyware
Yes I know that Subdreamer is a Content Management .

I only need a login system with is group based and that’s not IP Converge.

What the hell you need multiple forums together. ??????????? rolleyes.gif

There is one group of sites I help admin for a game. Each of the sites joined together to share the user info between them. Each site is seperatly maintained. Each site offers a different specialization but its all related.

Other people also use it to bridge applications like CMS and Blogs, not just forums.
Chillyware
can you use this as a bridge between phpprobid and IPB

can you use the Converge as stand alone

all tanks For the help sorcerer.gif
