When viewing a file in nexus you can click the download title and it takes you to the information page, and you can click the and they take you to the same please. For efficently and getting what you need faster I think it would be more effective if you clicked and it popped up with the download, rather than taking you to the long description.

It's not the long description, it's your custom disclaimer text. If you don't enter any in, it should download right away.
.Ryan
Well I call it the long description... but yeah its the disclaimer. Well my thinking was that if you have a disclaimer and people just want to go directly to the file, than that image will do it, so you don't have to leave the current download view, and can keep navigating.

The problem is...what kind of disclaimer doesn't require you to agree to it? blink.gif If we allowed people to bypass the disclaimer then it doesn't do much good.

Yes I know what you mean, except its such a hassle to scroll through that thing I barley read, and then click another download button, ect. By clicking just once you get what you need, now with that little image you can have alt="" text say by clicking here you agree to the disclaimer, or you have that in your sites rules, privacy policy, customer agreement, ect. If someone fails to read it thats their fault...

If its not stock material, then I'll find a way to modify it so it does that tongue.gif I mean its not critical but when you don't feel like waiting its nice.

Yes, it would be easy enough to bypass it (just add the appropriate url parameter to the link that indicates the box was checked), but it's not something I see as a good idea for default release personally. original.gif

I'll see what I can do with the latest demo when I get home, hopefully it works -- with my extremely limited PHP knowledge tongue.gif
