A way to have "top" friends in both the board and blog would be nice because I would like to be able to choose which friends' blogs or names show up in my profile view or blog.

I especially think it should be there for blog because I may want to link to certain friends blogs especially since its not random and always shows the same friends there and on profile.

I ahgree. It has been mentioned in the past and people kept complaining it would be too much like myspace. But considering how popular myspace is, I don't know how that is assumed to be a bad thing.

If they don't do this, maybe at least have mutual friends show first...

Something like that would be fine too but I would love to be able to choose who I show on my profile and blog. Its not that I want it to be like MySpace but I don't think its fair for certain profiles to show up instead of the ones I want especially since its not random and its always the same people showing on those pages. I especially think that if the account inactive they shouldn't show up there.

The top friend on my lists right now is someone that wasn't even active for a month until yesterday and why would I want someone to visit a blog or profile that hasn't been updated in a month.

Yeah exactly it's not to be a myspace clone, it's just a good idea to be able to determine who is shown first. I think they should consider it.

It wouldn't exactly be hard to add or maybe me make it as a modification I guess. Although sometimes I think that and then it is harder than I think. In something I made for my site I used the freinds data so I know how it's set up.... As it is hmm yeah it would be a lot of changes I guess. Oh wait... actually I think it could be done with one single field added actually. Something called "order" maybe and then a number be in that field. Yeah it wouldn't be that hard to do it now that I think about it...

I guess the part that would take longer would be making the page on the site where you even determine your friend order. Or I guess it could be done in the settings tab on profile or ucp. Hmm.
