The patch enabling lvl 30 to have mounts was installed this morning in Europe

It was yesterday for us but I feel sorta pissed about that. Coulda really helped when BC came out on the grind to 70. But whatever.

They said before BC came out that levelling from 60 - 70 would take the same amount of time from 1 - 60. Yea, I didn't think so. Probably be the same statement made about WotLK too ... then they'll jack up the exp for Outland quests like the Azeroth ones.

When do you get an epic mount?

60 Then at 70 you can get your flying mount, and then when you pay 5000g, your epic flying mount

Unless you are a druid, then you can get the regular flight form and fly at level 68.

They were a quest reward I got in Netherstorm last night. Level 68-ish quest I think it was. lol

I think I am addicted I want to play and I can't cos of this stupid download lol ( you would think that if you download the game Blizzard would have applied the patch lol... )

What is wrong with the download? it was done in a matter of minutes for me

I bought the expansion the Burning Crusades (didn't realise it wasn't included until I got chucked of the boat on the way to Azuremyst Isle lol) That downloaded ok.. then then I couldn't log in, needed a patch that is what is taking ages to download, I rang tech support and they said I have to wait for download to finish then I should be able to login. The download taking ages, I took it off peer to peer downloading, as tech said it would be quicker but it stopped downloading (and wasn't quicker lol) I'm surprised they don't just have a quick download like you have with music, unless I'm doing something wrong.

EDIT: I do have allow downloads while playing but as it won't let me login I can't lol.

Hm. Generally, when something's as popular as WoW, P2P sharing is much faster than a direct interface with a server.

I think that the first suggestion I would make is work on your trade skills a bit. Especially your first aid. Yeah, you might be a paladin and able to heal, but you never know if you'll need some extra health when you're completely out of mana. Those bandages will work wonders.

I'm glad other people realize that. I've had my paladin for like 2 years now and was trying to explain that simple philosophy to a buddy of mine. He wasn't hearing it because all he does is PvP. His philosophy was just to go die to get his health and mana back. After him saying that, I didn't argue the fact that you want to stay alive in PvP. lol

Zigz, if you're looking to speed level to get to max, don't worry about your other trade skills. It's nice to work on while levelling to do something OTHER than levelling but it's more of a money sink to me ... and I'm a speed leveller. lol

I'm not on a PvP realm though my flag is normally down, but since I destroyed a horde fire in the midsummer celebrations my flag goes up near horde or if I make a move on them, plus if any of my party get attacked I jump in lol so it goes up again

So now it is my turn to ask a question, I've just got travel form, is it worth me paying for riding training? I don't know if druids get faster travel forms at 60 and 70.

You don't at 60 or 70. You get Flight Form at 68, saving you 1,000 gold but you still have to shell out 5000 to get epic flight form.

A mount is 60% while travel for is like 30 or 40%, so it really just depends on how fast you want to travel the World ... of Warcraft. lol

I know what speed a mount is, this isn't my first character, just my first druid

I've been leveling a druid, I'm at 49 now and I never use my mount, only travel form. The speed difference is barely noticeable, since travel from has no cast time and you can't be knocked out of it by attacks, I always stick to travel form.

Ah ok. Druids are fun but can be annoying at times. My main thing with mine was that I have a 70 rogue and melee dps just isn't doing it for me like my shaman can do it. Changing forms and all to stay alive. Sometimes it's rather boring leveling as feral though, so you may want to pull more than you're "suppose" to handle just to liven it up. ... lol that's 'livin on the edge'!

I love this game have now lvld to lvl 50 Where would you recomend I go to lvl up more? At the moment am sort of Wandering the upper part of Blasted Lands (done the available quests) Venturing into Un Goro crater but tend to die easy when set on by 3/4 lvl 56 lol, just had a first quest to go to Western Plaguelands and have finished the quests in Tanaris. Anywhere else I can go?

Yeah been there, was sent there from Tanaris on a Screeching Spirits quest, didn't like it much, didn't seem a lot there apart from mob to kill and Horde

If you take the boat on the west coast, or swim, to Featerhmoon Stronghold, you'll find a bunch of quests that should be pretty easy at your level and get some quick XP. At level 50 you could probably also go to Felwood, but that's going to be harder than Feralas.

Felwood is good XP but like Josh said I would wait until you're maybe 52 or 53 to go there since it's a bit annoying.

I have been there with a higher lvl as a bodyguard lol, he was having trouble with one quest so I went along and just kept healing him, and shared the quest lol (nearly 9000xp for that ) but he then got disconnected I died without backup Went on then into Winterspring ( that was scary as well )

Ahh, they made Felwood and Winterspring so tame compared to what they used to be. I don't know if you're on a PvP server but I remember gank fests back in the day that would make me get off.

Can you change professions? I like mining but don't like blacksmithing lol .. can I change?

Yeah, you can unlearn any profession from your skills tab, but you'll have to start the new one at 0 skill level.

And that really sucks if you choose another gather profession because you have to go back to newb areas to get it up you can't just buy the mats off the AH. You may like Engineering more but if you want to eventually earn gold with your prof, I suggest jewel crafting.

I really wouldnt recommend Jewelcrafting unless you are happy to wait a while to make your money.
A lot of the blue gem recipes are world-drops and go for hundreds on the AH. Not quite as bad now with the Shattered Sun patterns, but those cost ~50g each, so at least on my server you need to do 10 cuts of each gem to make the cost of the pattern.

It's also pretty difficult to get raw epic gems to cut unless you grind badges, and you really need to be a miner to make any money at all from blue gems.

My mage is Alchemy/Herbalism and my Shaman is Mining/JC. Don't really find either combination brilliant at the moment, only thing you can make money from on Alchemy is Primals.

I have a Lock Herb/Alch, A Pally Miner/JC, another Lock Herb/Enchanting (My true gold getter), a Shaman Skinner/Leather and another Pally which is Miner/Engineer. I've made the most on my Enchanter Lock but I make a lot just off of default gems you get from mining with my Pally JC. You really start to get the money if you mine enough to make some of the decent 30+ rings. And those are default recipes where you are getting 5-10 gold a pop for a blue ring (depending on your servers economy). So Really other then a Chanter JC is the way to make money, at least I know I do.
