Guys, he's getting this error while attempting to use the beta, not on our site - we do not support the beta releases of IP.Nexus and thus are unable to provide support for it via the ticketing center.

Reopening topic.

Seeing as how there is no longer a category for Nexus in the Tracker, I'll just keep this here. Attempting to access the installation (http://www.domainnamehere.com/nexusdirectoryhere/) gives this message

after the error above happens.

Really a poor decision in my opinion, considering with a Beta you generally want feedback about bugs. rolleyes.gif

This is the first time I've test driven nexus and can only say I'm unimpressed so far. How long do I have to wait for the next beta to be released or will there be a fix considoring its so early in this beta?

Yes but, if you are changing gears and not wanting to put resources on following the "issues" with a non-release product, you wouldn't want a tracker to be filled up with duplicate issues that won't be fixed anytime soon original.gif
Gärrett
So IPS isn't going to follow issues with Nexus for a while now?

@Inline: When Nexus actually works, it's a pretty amazing thing. Don't worry.
Malefickus
For better tracking of this issue, it happens directly after it is done installed the "Other" languages.

By leaving this forum open I'd bet they will be tracking new issues internally (at least until July 17th wink.gif)
Alεx
And the bug tracker category, more than likely, hasn't been removed, its probably just hidden from public view at this stage.

Yeah, it is an amazing piece of software, the two websites (IPS and IPSR) explain its capabilities original.gif
Gärrett
Anyone else notice how there's no IP.Nexus Beta in the client area anymore? O_o
Alεx
I can still see it :S
Gärrett

Not there for me. :\

Gärrett
I didn't see that one, as the IPS Resources one was posted so soon after it.

I was read it, but:

We will be allowing the current beta of IP.Nexus to expire on July 31 and will revisit our content management and business services plans after our upcoming releases of our community software products including IP.Board, IP.Gallery, IP.Blog, and IP.Downloads.

So they still should allow us to download the current beta till July 31, maybe they've removed the IP.Nexus package from Client Area until they fix the db error.
Gärrett
Doesn't make sense though..."We're going to focus all resources on our core community line, yet we'll still fix the bugs in Nexus, only to put it on hold."
