I think I found the error in my css and I finally got the blog theme to display correctly. Right now it looks 100% perfect on my test site, and I've installed it here on my blog, so as soon as the staff approves the code on it you should all be able to see it. I'm hoping it still looks fine here too. We'll see soon.

Update: I just figured out how to export the blog themes so that people can install them without feeding off my bandwidth.

We're making progress. Now I can get all these themes I have made up ready to go!

I have realized that when exporting a blog theme, the XML file does not include the theme images URL. I'm having to include instructions with my blog themes to let downloaders know to manually go in and put the theme images URL in manually in the theme settings in the admin CP.

Is this how it is suppose to be?

I think so, reflecting on it, but I suppose we could always include the URL since relative urls would work anyways.

I think the original idea was to protect people from getting a ton of bandwidth being leeched if they didn't understand it. Hard to remember exactly.

Okay, no problem.
I just typed up individual installation instructions for each one and threw it in the zip file, so when someone downloads it, they will see what the image URL is for that specific theme.

Finally got a few of them done and ready for release. Two of these will be free themes uploaded to IPS Beyond.
The other three will be available from our skin shop pretty cheap.

I've got about 4 more I'm trying to get finalized and released tonight as well. I've been working on these for weeks, but it took some time to figure everything out so they displayed correctly.

You know Evanescense, since the relaunch of the resources site we allow paid files to be listed as well. I'd venture to guess it might bring you some nice traffic if you wanted to list your files there. Effectively you'd just be submitting a link to your payment page (or whatever page you want the user to end up at when they click for more information). PM me if you want some more info.

Am I missing something? I don't see them.
