Well if anyone knows the history of metallica and napster then they'd be suprised and amused by the news today that napster now has metallica's entire collection on their service. I guess metallica finally realised what a huge thing online music is.

Yea, well, the Napster of old is not the Napster of now. The Napster they railed against was running illegally. These days, it's a perfectly legal service (owned by a completely different company) that requires purchasing of songs.

I don't think it's that they've discovered online music, but now that they're willing to put their songs where they'll be able to get money off it.

Hey! A band that's 'evolved' for the worst has put music on a site that's gone down hill (well, I doubt it gets nearly the same amount of usage these days).
