Idav's blog entry, I am god.

I'm not going to lie, half the reason I'm doing this is give my article exposure.

If you can tell me how the argument I present against the supernatural can be used against me somewhat paradoxically (that's a huge clue) I'll donate $10 to any charity you like. I appologize if my writing doesn't make sense. I just tapped it out quickly and will be editing it, probably frequently. Please reply with any suggestions or corrections if you like. Post here or comment on my blog. I'll provide a screen shot of receipt as confirmation.

"I am god", that is a whole new level of egotism, even for you tongue.gif

Read read read, the sarcasm of the title should be obvious. Or at least I'm hoping it is obvious, it tends not to be as obvious as I'd like. sad.gif

Well I assumed it would be, I was just poking fun at you tongue.gif

I'll read it when I've finished tidying up pinch.gif

I've not read the blog entry, but I'm guessing its that you're ranting against the supernatural while claiming to be the supernatural entity known as God.

Or the fact that you don't truly understand everything you're talking about? If you were 'God', one would assume you'd be 'omnipotent', thus understanding everything that's going on in your domain. As based on the note '2', you're hardly omnipotent, therefore, would be assumed not a 'God', but just a mortal like the rest of us tongue.gif

Also, a real god wouldn't need anyone to ever explain the problem, but would know the problem instantly and the solution instantly (or at least rather quickly shocked.gif) tongue.gif

But, as I stated the beginning of the conversation was purely a courtesy, so my omniscience remains intact, no?

I was worried about that the second note would effect the delivery. I'll just get rid of the both of them.

CTerry is closest, he'll probably be able to explain it more specifically if he reads it. Maybe you have to be very familiar with typical creationist arguments to give me the answer I'm looking for though.

I'll drop another hint: Intelligent Design.

Oh faeces. I accidentally just deleted the thing...maybe it was a sign. Luckily I was able to hit back enough times and recover it from an editing session.

New Permalink I'd appreciate it if a mod would edit the initial post.

*Takes a stab*

A god would be able to make the computer work without having to log in? Because God doesn't need to log in, he can change the computer's code all by himself.
